Where to find your save
Choose the .savegame world slot you want to edit. Compatible .savecfg files contain local-profile settings rather than world progress.

What you can edit
Partial fixed-size editing for Windows world and local-profile layouts with save versions 44–52. New records, array resizing, native inventory rebuilding and other platform containers are outside this guide.
| Stored resource and component values | Change exposed CurrentCharge, Amount, oxygen-related flags and existing component counters. Most native inventory structures remain outside this guide; new items and slots are not created. |
|---|---|
| Missions and existing world flags | Edit present mission progress, objective counters, respawn values and supported world flags. Some properties use technical names; the editor does not rebuild quests or verify their dependencies. |
| Creative and local-profile settings | Change existing creative/custom-game, tutorial and intro flags and supported saved settings. Offline cached storefront data does not grant online purchases or entitlements. |
Notes
- Edited files use the game’s uncompressed storage mode and can be substantially larger than the original compressed slot.
