Bethesda documents this Windows save folder. Select the FOS for your character and slot; redirected Documents folders may be elsewhere.

What you can edit
Reviewed Windows PC saves only. Items cannot be added, removed or reordered; plugin dependencies and unknown records must remain consistent. Console containers and every modded variant are not covered.
| Level and character values | Change level, exposed SPECIAL values, stored skill modifiers and recognized actor values. Stored modifiers are not necessarily the final skill totals shown in the game. |

| Inventory quantities | Adjust existing recognized stack counts and item condition. Caps can be changed when the caps stack is recognized; adding items is not supported. |
