Where to find your save
In Steam, use Browse local files, then open PlayerData, Saves and your profile folder. Choose the current city .save for city resources and progress.
<game installation>\PlayerData\Saves\<profile name>- File
- A city .save file, or _meta_core.timeline for central profile metadata
What you can edit
Windows named Arcen saves, including the 1_127_Hotfix53 city-save and 2_001_Update89 metadata layouts. Changes apply to existing fields, with a specific exception for omitted zero resource amounts. Profile/timeline GUIDs, coordination time and GameVersion are retained.
| Resources and neural processing | Resource Current amounts, saved caps and statistics, meta-resource amounts, NeuralProcessing and IntelligenceClass. An omitted zero Current value can be set for an existing resource. Other missing fields are not created. |
|---|---|
| Progression and settings | Existing chapter progress, flags, unlocks, difficulty and simplification settings. |
| Actors and world state | Existing scalar actor, structure, equipment, position and world-state values. Technical IDs and cached values keep their original labels. Objects and collection entries cannot be added or removed. |
Notes
- Profile progress is shared across several files. A newer central metadata copy can replace the metadata inside a city save when the game loads it; editing _meta_core.timeline alone may not change an existing city slot. The editor does not synchronize profile or timekeep files.
