Where to find your save
Select the main saveGame slot file. Leave its matching descriptor file in the same folder.

- saveGame_<slot>.sav; keep its matching *_descr.sav companion
What you can edit
Numeric edits that keep the decoded file length unchanged. Adding records, resizing strings or collections, and edits needing companion-metadata updates are outside this guide.

Notes
- Large edited saves may download as a ZIP. Extract the SAV before restoring the slot. Recompression can increase the file size even when the decoded data length stays unchanged.
