Where to find your save
Select the local .save slot you want to change. Its name may include a slot number, game date and version, or begin with Auto_ or Story_.

What you can edit
Partial editing for archive-version 10 / Player-version 5 local saves. Character stats, relationships, quests, machines, new items and structural changes are outside this guide.
| Gols | Change the stored Gols balance. The matching slot-preview balance is updated together. |

| Backpack quantities | Change quantities of existing backpack items. Known items use their stack limits. For an unknown item ID, the quantity can be lowered but cannot exceed its original amount; item identities and slots stay fixed. |
| Unspent knowledge points | Change existing unspent knowledge points in Gathering, Workshop, Combat and Social categories, plus the additional stored category where present. Knowledge experience, levels and unlock flags stay fixed. |
